“Christmas for the Homeless”

CCSA’s “Christmas for the Homeless” Program is an opportunity for our supporters to lend some extra care and concern to the CCSA’s homeless clients during the Christmas holidays. The program offers a “gift bag” especially designed with thoughtful and much-needed items such as cold weather clothing items and hygiene products to help these people through the period of holidays when many social service agencies that they rely upon for their daily needs are closed. This year “Christmas for the Homeless” will be distributed during the week of December 15th through December 19th at the Joyce Snyder Center.

CCSA staff and volunteers hope to prepare and distribute these special gift bags to 200 homeless people. Donations are needed for this year’s program and should be delivered to the Joyce Snyder Center located at 1675 Garnet Ave (in the alley behind Pacific Beach Presbyterian Church). The target date to make a donation to this year’s program is no later than Friday, December 5th to be included in the distribution. For more program information, please contact Jack Blevins at (858) 272-0163 at the Joyce Snyder Center, or by email at snydercenter@sbcglobal.net
